Health and Environment, Veronica changed direction in 2002 to partner her
husband Martin Birley in the field of Health Impact Assessment.
Unafraid
of challenging locations and an able linguist, Veronica has worked in
Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Ghana, Hong Kong,
Kenya, Malaysia, Morocco, Pakistan, South Korea, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Tanzania,
Thailand & Zimbabwe, as well as Europe and North America. Her communication
skills facilitate research among peoples of all types and at all levels.
She
brings a broad knowledge and understanding of biology, cultures, developing
nations, disability, geography, health, health impact assessment, energy,
environment, inequality, media, medicine, natural history, poverty and women.
She
is a competent interviewer, report writer and analyst, and training facilitator.
